Accounting Practice Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting department
• Lead and mentor a team of skilled accountants
• Prepare Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Maintain general ledger, fixed asset registers, and handle journal entries
• Deliver strategic financial insights to clients
• Support payroll and tax processes
• Build and nurture strong client relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Registered with a recognized professional body (SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA)
• Proven leadership experience in an accounting environment
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both written and verbal)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience using accounting and financial management software
