Responsible for the preparation of Management Reports to relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for managing the forecasts and budgets for the mine functions.
Execute budgeting and forecasting process, including budget submissions.
Maintain accurate costing model for business.
Track and report cost and productivity initiatives.
Continuously track and report operational financial performance.
Perform analysis to ensure that all commercial decisions consider value, risk, cost and opportunity (cost, margin, EBIT, FCF)
Perform financial analysis including variance analysis, scenario and option analysis.
Execute cost accounting processes timely and effectively, ensuring operational discipline and strict adherence to internal accounting guidelines and controls.
Execute month end costing activities.
Finalise results of operational performance and report to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Finance
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance related field
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Understanding of accounting policies, ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost control
Good analytical skills
Competent in Finance Reporting Standards
Have knowledge of safety regulations, company policies and procedures
Valid driver’s license
In possession of or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
