    Senior Analyst - Financial Advisors & Intermediaries

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Investigate complaints relating to contraventions of the FSR Act and other financial sector laws;
    • Ensure that regulatory action is taken when contravention is confirmed;
    • Deal with debarments of persons who have been found to have materially contravened the FSR Act and/or any sector law;
    • Deal with suspensions and withdrawals of entities authorised in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS Act); 
    • Liaise with investigators on investigations conducted in terms of the FSR Act;and
    • Be able to perform administrative and other activities relating to the regulatory framework.

    Requirements

    • An LLB or bachelor’s degree in law or related field with 3 to 5 years working experience. Candidates must have an understanding of the FSR Act and other financial sector laws.
