The purpose of this role is to partner with the Sales Managers in Africa to drive Net Sales growth, Optimize Trade Spending and increase profitability by close P&L analysis, pre and post promo analysis (ROI) and customer profitability tracking.
Responsibilities:
Lead yearly budgeting process
Lead monthly S&OP process
Lead trade spending (including returns/remnants) optimization with close controls and a structured ROI analysis, in line with global and cluster policies. Reconciliation of trade deal accounts on a monthly basis.
Lead month-end closing for trade spending actuals and accruals, in coordination with SSC Customer Finance Team (AR, CAT, Rebates teams), report risks and opportunities to Sales and FP&A manager
Audit: Deliver necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits
Overall P&L ownership
Experience you’ll bring:
2-3 years of commercial finance experience, preferably in FMCG sector
Efficiently managing, influencing & partnering with key stakeholders, especially that some are cross country
Ability to implement and enforce internal controls
