    Senior Associate, NSO

    The ideal candidate will partner closely with clients, utilising cutting-edge tools and analytics to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable recommendations. By providing measurement and improvement strategies, you will be the key link between NIQ and our clients, ensuring that our service and delivery not only meets but exceeds expectations. You will play an essential role in supporting clients’ growth objectives, using data-driven insights to guide their business decisions and foster lasting partnerships.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyse data collected from in-store observations, including forward share, out of stock levels, brands present, and other key metrics, to uncover actionable insights for clients. 
    • Present monthly reports to clients, clearly communicating key findings and interpreting data trends to support informed business decisions. 
    • Assist clients in making sense of complex data sets by translating observations into clear, concise, and practical recommendations. 
    • Link in-store observation data with additional internal data sources to provide a holistic view and contribute to the broader business narrative. 
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure insights are aligned with client objectives and drive growth opportunities. 
    • Give the culture of client centricity, continuously driving to improve our clients experience, creating greater client dependency to enable contract renewals and business growth 
    • Drive execution excellence, ensuring the market team is solving client needs with speed and thoroughness, continually improving client satisfaction. 
    • Use data collected for projects to deliver actionable insights to clients 
    • Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards 
    • Learn and leverage best practices within zone/vertical, scaling key learning, processes and tools to multiply impact across clients in a way that is simple, seamless and continuously improving. 
    • Work cross-functionally to exceed client expectations 
    • Execute on transformation and drive and embrace the change agenda 
    • Embrace learning and continuous development / organic growth 
    • Drive efficiency through simplification, standardization and automation

    About you 

    • We are seeking an analytical, inquisitive and enthusiastic professional with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess strong storytelling abilities, enabling them to help clients understand evolving consumer behaviours. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, along with a demonstrated ambition and a client-centric approach. A passion for delivering insightful, data-driven narratives that support client growth is key. The successful applicant will also be confident in presenting findings to clients and senior stakeholders. 

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA / BSc / BCom degree in any discipline – statistics beneficial 
    • 4 or more years of FMCG and/or Retail experience 
    • MS Office, and Power BI 
    • Fully skilled in Excel and PowerPoint 
    • Good Communication Team working skills 
    • English proficient 
    • Curious mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Good presenter to deliver insights to clients 
    • Experience with instore merchandising beneficial
