Senior Business Analyst at GBS

Purpose of the Job:

• The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in understanding and analysing our business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing effective solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis by gathering and analysing business requirements, objectives, and processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance business performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and observations to elicit business requirements.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements using appropriate methodologies.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and process flows to capture business needs.
• Create clear and concise requirement specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain business models, diagrams, and prototypes.
• Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Support the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and provide ongoing support and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and address project-related issues.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on project progress and key metrics.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to design effective solutions. Conduct functional and user acceptance testing to ensure deliverables meet business objectives

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• 5–7 years proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as process modelling, data analysis, and requirements management.
• Solid understanding of business processes, systems, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse and Senior Management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
