Senior Business Analyst - Supply Chain Management & Manufacturing at Adcock Ingram

Job Purpose

• Adcock Ingram is seeking a Senior Oracle Business Analyst to work closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to understand the operation, identify opportunities to improve and automate business processes, and design, implement and support Oracle EBS solutions that are practical, compliant and sustainable. The successful candidate will ensure solutions are well specified, well documented and supported by effective training that enables user adoption.

Key Job Objectives

• Analyse business information requirements to determine systems requirements.
• Ensure data integrity.
• Assess how effectively current systems are used, identify shortcomings and enhance them accordingly.
• Create business and functional specifications.
• Manage projects through to delivery.
• Develop and maintain system and business process documentation.
• Design and implement custom applications, integrations and automations.
• Deliver against Service Level Agreements.
• Provide for an excellent user experience through training and effective solutions.
• Comply with internal, external audit and regulatory requirements.
• Support GxP-compliant system processes, including validation documentation, audit trails and change control.

Core Competencies

• Solid background in Supply Chain Management & Manufacturing.
• Proven Oracle EBS R12 functional implementation and support experience.
• Knowledge of quality management processes.
• Experience in majority of the following modules / business processes:
• Inventory Management
• Warehouse Management Systems
• Mobile Warehouse Controls (Scanners, Labels, Integration)
• Order Management
• Distribution Requirements Planning
• Process & Discrete Manufacturing
• Product Lifecycle Management
• Product Costing
• Forecasting and Supply Chain Planning
• Structured Query Language (SQL) for general queries.
• Integration experience across ERP and third-party systems (interfaces, APIs/web services, EDI, file-based).
• MS Tools such as Excel, Power BI and SharePoint.
• Eagerness to learn, explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI, to improve business processes.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to conduct training sessions.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organising skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years Business/System analysis experience.
• BSc (Computer Science), BEng (Industrial) or relevant experience
• Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical or FMCG business environment and Supply Chain & Manufacturing business processes
