Senior Buyer- Engineering Specialist

Job Description
- Collaborate closely with the Projects & Sales Team to timeously procure equipment, spares and services in line with the technical specifications.
- Prepare RFP and RFQ documents.
- Negotiate and implement agreements with key suppliers.
- Supplier Development / Management
- Identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
- Understanding of INCOTERMS and import procedure (Documents for customs clearance)
- Ensure compliance of the Procurement Policy.
- Expedite and communicate the status of orders placed.
- Drive B-BBEE strategies in line with the Business Goals
Qualifications & Experience
- Procurement / Supply Chain qualification
- Minimum of 5 years Engineering Procurement experience.
- Understand the principals of strategic sourcing and negotiations
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical tools
- ERP SAP experience
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
