Senior C# .NET Systems Engineer (Azure DevOps & Automation) at DeARX Services (Pty) Ltd

• We are looking for an experienced Senior C# .NET Systems Engineer (Azure DevOps & Automation) to join a leading enterprise environment in Sandton on a 12-month contract.
• This role combines C#/.NET software development, test automation, Azure DevOps integration, and systems engineering support. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable solutions, enhancing automation capabilities, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and supporting enterprise production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Build and enhance automation solutions and test automation frameworks
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts (Selenium preferred)
• Integrate test automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Manage test execution using Azure Test Plans
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and automated testing
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting
• Support production environments, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams
• Adhere to governance, security, and compliance standards
• Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Experience with Selenium test automation
• Experience integrating automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of Azure Test Plans
• Experience in automation development, scripting, or process automation
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development
• Database experience with SQL Server or similar
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies
