Job Advert Summary    
Job Purpose

• The Continuous Improvement (CI) department serves as an internal management consultancy to Hollard Insure. This department focusses on implementing critical initiatives that drives the Strategy of Hollard Insure using Hollard’s Continuous Improvement philosophy and project methodology

Key Responsibilities

• As a Senior CI Consultant, your main role will be to lead and deliver key strategic initiatives (IT & Non-IT Related) for Hollard Insure.
• In the CI Team, we own delivery of the business case benefits regardless of the obstacles encountered during the project.  In Order to Achieve this, you will be expected to:
• Engage with Key business stakeholders to understand their specific needs and business problems
• Design a suitable solution with required business stakeholders to solve a specified business problem (using the CI Team frameworks as a basis
• Create a strong and practical Business Case for the designed solution
• Obtain sign off on the Business Case from the Managers of the key impacted teams
• Present the Business Case for approval at the applicable Hollard Insure forums
• Mobilise the resources required to deliver on the project
• Run monthly Steering Committee forums to provide feedback on the specific initiatives and to obtain steer from the key stakeholders when required
• For IT related initiatives, work with the IT teams to prioritise, build, test and deploy the required functionality

Required Knowledge and Experience    

• Curiosity & Eagerness to Learn
• Proficient with MS Office Toolset (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Experience with Continuous Improvement Methodologies (Lean, Theory of Constraints, 6-Sigma) is preferred
• Project Management
• Min 5 years’ experience in an operational improvement and preferably a Consulting Role

Educational Requirements    

• Degree minimum, Honours preferable
