Senior Collections Manager - Credit Control at Debt-IN

The Role:

The role of the Senior Collections Manager is to manage a team who monitors outstanding debt which includes timely cash collections, assessing credit risks, minimizing bad debts and query resolution within a contact centre environment.

Experience Required:

• 5 years of credit and collection management experiences with at least 3 years of supervisory experiences in a commercial industry.
• Proven track record in effective Credit management/ Debt Collections
• Matric
• Tertiary related degree an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of supervisors and credit controllers in managing their allocated accounts and taking responsibility for all credit and collections matters on behalf of the client
• Training and development through identifying training needs from Calls listened to and whether in line with the standards set
• Ensuring that all deliverable and targets are achieved with the deadlines provided
• Strong focus on people & ensuring performance standards are consistently met
• Liaise with the relevant Departments and people on credit control/ customer issues; as well as with Customer Services, Sales Operation and Accounts receivables.
