Roles and responsibilities

Identifying and interpreting C-level client problems, focusing on answering key questions and adding value to the problems at hand. These may be more general consulting questions, organisation design, business strategy, to more Life Science and Health Care specific questions; specific market entry strategy for medical products. Understanding and engaging with medical supply chain issues. Data analysis and interpretation of Life Science and Health Care data. As a senior consultant, part of the role will be managing your own workstreams. Assistant senior leadership with solving the overall questions.  Managing and leading small teams and effective analysis of data. It is critical to identify key issues and how the relate to the overall question and how it fits in with the client and market. We look to create and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Some key areas in guiding teams are:

• selecting and applying the most appropriate tools, techniques and approaches to deliver client work
• Supporting, managing and leading team members
• Hypothesis driven solution development
• Business research and analysis
• Communication and presentations to C-suite
• Preparation of underlying materials, leading/participation in workshops
• Logical and systematic approach to solving analytical tasks
• Identify information sources, gather and interpret data, execute analysis and present findings
• Strategic Impact - Under guidance, support the team in delivery to client in area of competency
• Budgets / Profitability
• Ability to operate in an agile environment and ability to take direction from stream lead and/or project lead

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience required

A degree that provides you the opportunity to solve business problems to add value to the client in a broad spectrum of projects. We are looking for clever individuals who can think clearly and have a passion for solving problems in an overlap of Business and Life Science and Health Care

A degree in any of the following would be a distinct advantage:

• Business Sciences
• Bachelor of Sciences Honours in Life Science and Health Care fields
• Business Administration (MBA or equivalent)
• Finance
• Economics 
• Statistics
• 3-4 years’ working experience within Strategy, ideally in a consulting environment or related field
• Experience in strategy and management consulting
• Experience with presenting and solution development at C-suite level

Preferred:

• Postgraduate qualification
• Life Sciences and Healthcare industry experience
