    Senior Copywriter

    About the job

    • We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Conceptual Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work showcasing their ability to generate big ideas and develop impactful and effective copy for a variety of channels including print, digital, social media, film, radio, and outdoor. In this role, you will report directly to the Creative Director and also be responsible for mentoring junior writers to help them develop their skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and execute creative concepts that meet client objectives and drive business results.
    • Develop and write compelling copy for a range of advertising and marketing materials, including but not limited to headlines, taglines, body copy, scripts, and social media content.
    • Collaborate with art directors, designers, and other members of the creative team to ensure that copy and visuals work together seamlessly to create powerful advertising campaigns.
    • Attend and contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas, concepts, insights to the table.
    • Present creative work to clients and stakeholders, articulating the thinking and strategy behind each concept.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior writers, offering constructive feedback and helping them grow their skills and abilities.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that our work remains fresh, innovative, and effective.
    • Have a pro-active mindset to identify opportunities within each brief to develop work that’s clutter-breaking and possibly award-winning.

    Requirements

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling copy that resonates with audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to generate big ideas and think conceptually.
    • Experience presenting work to clients and stakeholders.
    • A passion for mentoring and developing junior writers.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

    Qualifications

    • At least 6 years of experience working as a copywriter in an advertising agency or related field.
    • A strong portfolio of work showcasing a range of campaigns, conceptual ability, and copywriting craft.
