A Senior Data Analyst acts analytics efforts fully independently. Individuals will create advanced-level insight and recommendations in their area of expertise as well as adjacent areas. Individuals in this role are subject matter experts in their domain. A Senior Data Analyst II also starts to coach and effectively leverage more junior team members.
Responsibilities
Executes on projects and initiatives fully independently and acts as subject matter in their domain
Work with stakeholders and guides them through hypothesis thinking.
Identify most relevant analyses and metrics to support business/customers with insights and recommendations.
Able to expertly blend and prepare data, know how to apply these using multiple tools and languages and is able to leverage the benefits of big data platforms.
Has experience in advanced statistical analysis and Able to apply advanced data models/scenarios.
Can design and create compelling visualizations to influence stakeholders.
Able to identify opportunities and barriers, suggest basic solutions and bring these to the attention of others, including those outside of the analytics team.
Has advanced understanding of the discipline, industry, and activity.
Has the ability to effectively lead and manage medium/tactical analytics projects and team members to keep the project on time and on budget by assigning work to individual team members to align on execution path.
Requirements
Preferred Academic Background: Bachelor's or master’s or a PhD degree
Preferred Field of Study: Mathematics/Science
Relevant Experience: 5 - 7 years
Possess strong analytical and research skills for resolving complex identity issues.
Able to contribute collaboratively within a team environment, while working and managing tasks independently
