Senior Designer

Responsibilities

• Translate briefs and strategic requirements into compelling creative solutions
• Designing for print, digital applications and other digital products
• Brainstorming and proactive research into design methodology and application
• Complete full campaigns in preparation for presentations
• Making directional design mock-ups
• Get involved at all levels of work, from print to digital to television
• Liaising with the repro department on quality control
• Direct photographic shoots for stills and video when required
• Oversee and guide junior and mid designers to ensure their creative output aligns with the brief
• Present creative output in reviews and guide marketing teams through your work

Qualifications

• Fine Arts or Graphic Design qualification
• 6 – 7 years’ experience defining and driving the design process and directing projects for various media platforms
• Portfolio demonstrating design expertise, skills and styles
• Agency experience on FMCG brands; experience on fashion retail and ecommerce advantageous
• Passion for fashion and latest trends
• Expert knowledge of the creative development process and design programs
• Expertly skilled in defining and executing design styles based on strategy, brand, and creative guidelines
• Strong grasp of brand awareness and a flair for thinking out the box
