Qualification(s):

• BSc Eng. /B Eng. Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Computer/Civil/
•      Metallurgical/Industrial Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits

 Related Minimum Experience:
 

•  4 years related experience in research and/or industrial environment
•  Professional Registration: Engineering Council South Africa (ECSA) as a professional engineer

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide a technical research, testing, consulting, and investigation service for customers in renewable technologies field
•  Develop discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications for approval
•  Conduct discipline specific research into new technologies
•  Provide input to discipline specific technology vision, strategy and direction setting
•  Produce and integrate engineering solutions/designs for asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifestyle
•  Provide professional technical leadership for engineers in a specific discipline
•  Participate in national and international technical forums
•  Manage and conduct, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations
