Senior Finance Manager at CA Financial Appointments

Role Overview:

• Capital intensive business specialising in the field of the development and production of a wide range of specialised electronic components has hired our services exclusively to assist them in identifying a highly skilled Senior Finance Lead. Based in the Northern suburbs of the Western Cape you will be tasked with overseeing a broad range of financial responsibilities as you partner with the CFO and other senior key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the Finance Team.
• Full control over the entire finance function including the full preparation of the monthly management accounts, performing reviews, conducting recons, and month-end reporting.
• Monthly and daily cash flow reporting (monitoring of monthly and daily cash flow).
• Maintaining training plan for finance staff and making sure they are up to date on accounting practices.
• Implementation of any new systems.
• Manage Project accounting on an adhoc basis.
• Management of annual auditing processes and engaging with auditors as required.
• Responsible of all aspects of VAT submissions and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Managing export processes and making sure the company complies with Customs, SARS and Reserve Bank.
• Review and structure LC agreements. Execution of all LC document requirements.
• Liaise with banking partners regarding new and existing Reserve Bank approvals.
• Manage the relationships with banks and SARS
• Managing forward cover contracts on exports and imports.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) / CIMA / Professional finance qualification
• 10 years professional experience in a Manufacturing (or like) industry
• In depth forex experience required
• Good relationship building skills with Banks and SARS
