Senior Financial Accountant at Robert Walters

Key qualifications and experience required for the

• CA(SA) – Newly Qualified or CA(SA) with 1-2 years’ post articles experience
• Property Fund / REIT industry exposure (advantageous)
• Strong academic record

Key duties for the Senior Financial Accountant, not limited to:

• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Review monthly GL recons and review weekly bank recons prepared by the team
• Review and approve weekly head office payments
• Assist Financial Director with preparation of interim and annual results (non-IFRS reporting)
• Exposure to foreign subsidiaries and/or associates, and related derivatives
• Support ongoing improvements in financial processes by suggesting enhancements that promote efficiency, accuracy, and transparency within the team.
• Adapt responsibilities as needed within the finance function to ensure optimal use of individual strengths across the team.
