Senior Foreman Fitter Surface at Anglo American

Job Description:

• As a Senior Foreman Fitter Surface you will be responsible for managing the discipline of engineering supervisory, budget and technical service. 

Your responsibilities are as follows:

• Plan and coordinated daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and priorities with operational team (all planned and related work and shut downs)
• Liaise and communicate effectively with other Foreman/Supervisors/departments 
• Monitoring and over inspect plant and equipment, including condition monitoring
• Control SHEQ and report regularly on costs, targets, actuals, objectives
• Oversee the quality of workmanship and conduct regular inspections and planned task observations
• Coaching and mentoring of learners and Artisans
• Standby duties
• This role is in the D1 level reporting to the Section Engineer.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Foreman/Supervisory Certificate
• Fitter Trade Certificate
• Certified Competent 2.9.2

Experience:

• +2 years' experience required as Foreman

Technical Knowledge and skills

• Computer literate in full MS Office
• Good analytical and decisions making skills
• Valid driving license code 08
