Senior Frontend Developer at Lulalend

Your responsibilities will include:

• Take ownership for the maintenance and improvement of our frontend features
• Collaborate with Marketing, Data, Product and Development teams to flesh-out and iterate on new frontend features
• Work closely with the Head of Engineering to help determine our web strategy and which frontend features to build to deliver the best user experience to our customers
• Work with Designers to execute on planned wire-frames and design mock-ups of new features
• Create engaging user experiences with scalable code and work with Developers to integrate with backend platforms
• Perform continuous user experience and impact A/B testing to evaluate new functionality, design performance and optimise experience
• Ensure best practises when implementing frontend web applications
• Keep up-to-date with website styling trends to ensure a creative and forward thinking output
• Assist in identifying areas for improvement in our code base
• Educate the wider business on web design and the value of a customer-centric approach

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3 - 5 years’ experience working as a Frontend Developer with an understanding of UX methodologies
• Experience coding and creating new frontend features using HTML5, css3 and front end frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, jQuery, javascript)
• Track record of implementing web designs and developing appealing user interfaces
• Understanding of software project management and development practices gained from working within an agile development environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
