As a Software Engineer, your skillset is sought after world-wide even through a global pandemic – the important thing is finding a role that you feel stable in, supported in and imagine being able to make a difference as well – on the spread of Covid 19.
• My client operates in the health-tech industry and are growing at a rapid rate – they currently employ a team of 10 people and the board all having a background in Engineering. With over 200K unique users on making use of their B2C and B2B platform – the product is currently being trialled for white labelling as well.
• We are looking for smart software engineers that enjoy working in start-up environment, where your ideas and inputs are encouraged and you will have input on the full SDLC. Because the CEO, CTO and COO all have a Computer Science background this really is a Developer friendly culture.
• The technology is about 6 years old, the core system needs some modernising and stabilising and of course there is a lot of improvement/greenfield work to do as well – the CEO suggested that this will probably be a 50/50 split.
• I am looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to completely own and look after this area of the product. The stack is Python and Django and React is used on the frontend, all in AWS.
• The budget for the role is in the region of R75K, and looking for the maturity and seniority that comes with that level of salary.
