Senior Full-stack Developer at The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP)

Main Purpose of the Job:

• Overseeing programming tasks to develop, enhance, test, and maintain in-house and 3rd party web-based platforms. Develop, enhance, and maintain integrations with 3rd party software platforms to support business-critical processes. Mentoring of intermediate and junior developers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in IT, and/or
• 5+ years of solid experience in full-stack web application development.
• Experience working with a productive software development team.
• Solid experience with modern solutions integrations. 

Skills:

• Modern full-stack development technologies (e.g. LAMP/LEMP stack)
• Unix/Linux server platforms
• MVC/OOP - Laravel 5+ Framework
• HTML5 & CSS3
• Modern CSS Libraries (Bootstrap 3+)
• Composer & NPM package managers
• JavaScript (jQuery & VUE2.js)
• PHP 7+ / Python
• RDBMS (MariaDB & SQL Server)
• API-based Restful web-services
