Senior Full Stack Wordpress Developer at Clickatell

Requirements
The role of our Champion:

• Full stack web application development in a variety of languages
• Responsible for the upkeep, security and optimisation of Clickatell's website (WordPress)
• Complete development projects above standards and on time, troubleshoot technical issues, proactively suggest development process and/or coding improvements, and create/maintain supporting documentation
• Provide leadership in improving development capabilities and applying best practices and standards
• Manage the technical processes across integrations (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.), customer journeys, data capturing and lead enrichment
• Drive marketing and customer experience programs across web and email via management, execution and ownership of the end-to-end development process
• Manage the internal processes with the networks and infrastructure team to build and scale back end services
• API design, implementation and improvement for internal systems as well as external 3rd party systems
• Identify opportunities to improve existing development process and workflow
• Leverage analytics tools and growth-hacking methods to conduct tests, track performance, and drive optimizations
• Push innovation by continually evolving interactive methodologies that go beyond the norm for web development; research and apply digital development trends and functionality solutions within websites, email campaigns, automation platforms, and beyond
• Develop testing procedures for completed work

Our Champion's journey thus far:

• BS degree (Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• 6+ years experience developing with JS, Java, Angular web technologies
• Deep understanding and troubleshooting of JavaScript, WordPress, PHP
• Strong front-end and CSS development skills
• Intermediate level cloud networking platform knowledge (AWS, Google, Azure)
• Demonstrated knowledge of MVC architecture, OOP concepts, responsive coding and design
• Experience in SQL: run queries, build stored procedures, and manage data
• Proficient with web testing methodologies and tools (Behat and PHPUnit highly advantageous)
• A firm understanding of in-memory data structure storage applications such as Redis or Memcache
• Experience creating, customizing, and integrating APIs
• Proficient in asynchronous application development using technologies such as Ajax
• Expertise in creating and implementing custom CMS themes and plugins
• Strong knowledge and experience working with API’s (Soap, Rest, HTTP)
• Strong experience with version control repositories (Gitlab/GitHub etc.)
• Familiarity with dockerised environments (Kubernetes, docker swarm etc.)
• Familiarity with Integrating Google Tag Manger, Facebook Pixel
• Preferably have experience integration with the following software suites: SalesForce, HubSpot, Jira
• Agile and test-driven development
• Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and SEO best practices
• Project Management experience
• Must be able to show an up-to-date portfolio
