• A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Senior Instrument Technician to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks
• Participating in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures
• Ensure installation and maintenance of plant control systems
• Provide input to project coordinators
• Test and assemble experimental and operational instrumentation devices, pneumatics and electronic components
• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Instrument Mechanician Trade Test Certificate
• ECSA Registered
• 6 - 8 years’ experience in a plant mining environment
