• Hire Resolve’s client in the clothing retail industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Regional Visual Merchandise Manager to join their team in the Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and evaluate the visual merchandise of the clothing retail stores in the assigned region
• Develop and implement regional visual merchandise strategies to meet the company's objectives
• Monitor the implementation of visual merchandise policies and procedures and ensure that the stores comply with them
• Supervise and train employees regarding visual merchandise techniques, methods, and standards
• Create and implement displays, merchandising plans, and other promotional initiatives to attract customers and increase sales
• Analyze sales data and establish visual merchandise changes to drive sales and improve customer engagement
• Stay aware of fashion trends and competitors' visual merchandising strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Merchandising
• At least 5 years of experience in visual merchandise, preferably in a retail setting
• Knowledge of merchandising principles, trends, and standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and develop effective visual merchandise strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to analyse sales data and implement effective visual merchandise changes
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
• Must be situated in the Western Cape

• A great mining company in Johannesburg, Gauteng is seeking the expertise of a Shaft Timberman to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of self and team members, working on the conveyances by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of maintenance activities
• Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations, and Company Standards
• Contribute to a culture of zero harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation, health, safety, environmental, security policies, and procedures, and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion
• Conduct pre-work assessments on each job and participate in safety meetings
• Perform basic construction work in the laying of concrete for building works, laying of water lines, erecting notice signs, barricading of sites / worked out areas within section, assisting in the pulling of the reef and assisting Artisans in the maintenance of equipment
• Conduct inspections of hanging side and footwall on a weekly basis, to ensure the area is safe within each section
• Inspect shaft barrel on a weekly basis to ensure construction is safe, by checking the shaft barrel concrete, bunting boxes, buntings and guides, and assist Artisans when required

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Onsetter Certificate
• Blasting Certificate for Hard Rock Mining
• 4 - 6 years’ experience in a shaft mining environment

• Minimize shutdown time by planning and controlling allocated tasks
• Participating in investigating and taking corrective actions in the event of instrument failures
• Ensure installation and maintenance of plant control systems
• Provide input to project coordinators
• Test and assemble experimental and operational instrumentation devices, pneumatics and electronic components
• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Instrument Mechanician Trade Test Certificate
• ECSA Registered
• 6 - 8 years’ experience in a plant mining environment
