• The School invites applications for the above position. The position is for a Senior Lecturer in coding for Economic and Finance and Environmental Economics.  The successful candidate will have integrated skills across
• Computational economics and Finance using R Studio
• Financial engineering (option pricing and portfolio optimization)
• Applied econometrics and machine learning in R
• Environmental economics and policy
• Reproducible research and advanced statistical modelling
• Teaching responsibilities will include teaching Coding for Economics and Finance (R Studio–Centered) and Environmental Economics 

Brief Description        
The successful applicant will also be expected to:

• Actively participate in research
• Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses 
• Supervise Postgraduate research 
• Participate actively in the running of the School through administration and academic citizenship activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A PhD in Economics/ Finance/ Econometrics/ or a closely related discipline
• Coursework Masters degree in one of the above fields
• Demonstrated teaching experience in quantitative/environmental economics, financial modelling, or/and coding for finance using R
• Evidence of peer-reviewed research publications in Q1/Q2 journals
• Experience in postgraduate supervision (or readiness to supervise as indicated through publications)
