Senior Lecturer: Agricultural Extension - Alice Campus at University of Fort Hare

Minimum Requirements:

• A Doctoral degree in Agricultural
• At least 5 years of Teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
• Research experience supported by a publication record in DHET-accredited journals commensurate with the level of Senior Lecturer.
• Successful graduation of post-graduate students and evidence of attracting research funding.

Duties:

• Teach undergraduate and Honours courses in Agricultural Extension and any other courses assigned by the Head of the Department.
• Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
• Develop research within the area of Agricultural Extension and rural/agricultural development.
• Attract research funding.
• Supervise Honours, Master’s, and Doctoral students.
• Participate in community engagement.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
• The successful candidate will be required to register for a postgraduate diploma in Higher Education.
