An NQF level 7 qualification as recognized by SAQA in Law/LLB; A minimum of 3 years’ experience in lecturing / formal tutoring in law environment in academia of which 3 years must be at supervisory level;
Knowledge and understanding of South African higher education systems and regulatory framework, Teaching and Learning theory interventions, Corporate Governance of Justice College Policy Framework and Justice System;
Knowledge and understanding of the Public Service statutory frameworks: Financial Management and regulatory framework/guidelines, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Treasury Regulations, Public Finance Management Act, Government initiatives and decisions.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas:
Coordinate and facilitate teaching and education for civil and family law programmes;
Coordinate and facilitate the provision of student support in civil and family law programmes;
Coordinate and conduct academic research and development; Maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders; Manage human, finance and other resources.
