Ensure that all operational equipment is serviceable and prepared for the next day.
All mine boxes and documentation must be up to date before close of business each day.
Ensure that daily toolbox talks are held.
Ensure that all equipment failures are reported to the co-ordinator logistics on time to minimise downtimes and avoid delays on deposits and dispatches.
Ensure that all job cards are completed and that follow-ups are done.
Ensure that security helipad members know and understand the daily tasks and the process in and around the Helipad.
The transporting LDV is serviceable for the daily tasks this includes re-fuelling.
In time deposits between flights and taking security responsibility for bullion on hand.
Have accurate record keeping through daily logs & performance.
Ensure that there is full compliance with the SHEQ procedures for people and equipment and product.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A completed Matric qualification.
Must have at least acquired 3 years of working experience within the Logistics field.
Experience within the Aviation sector would serve as an advantage.
A valid driver’s license, with two years of practical driving experience.
Must be in possession of an overhead crane license.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Computer literacy- SAP and MS Office.
Communication skills - able to communicate process and safety knowledge to others.
Risk Management skills - able to identify and eradicate risks.
Training skills - able to train others.
Administrative skills- able to effectively manage the administrative paperwork required.
Security knowledge - understand the security processes.
Equipment knowledge- fault detection abilities
Knowledge of safe operations around helicopters.
Knowledge of high-risk security work execution.
SHEQ knowledge- able to adhere to specified standards around helicopters and heavy lifting equipment.
