Job Summary

• The role for a Senior MI Performance analysis accountant is open in the Treasury team. The role will provide support to the Business Performance & Analytics team, compiling management information reports and sourcing of information. Essential experience to this role involves knowledge of BP&A, Treasury and Financial Resource Management activities. This team is responsible for the overall financial planning and reporting across Treasury SA (preparation and review of forecasts and short and medium term budgets), reporting on actual results with full variance analysis; as well as financial support to Treasury’s FRM activities.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• BP&A operations and financial support for FRM committees
• Business Performance & Analytics
• Production of budgets, targets and financial plans
• Financial scenario analysis and stress testing
• Gathering financial information and creating insightful analysis to inform management decisions
• Compiling monthly management reports
• Balance Sheet Management support:
• Margin analysis with specific understanding of FTP drivers: base rate, PLF factors, LP rates, incentives
• Calculation of Risk adjusted performance measurements: PARCC, RoRC, EP, etc.
• Analysis of RWA intensities and major drivers of various products and BS items
• Analysis of Liquidity, Funding and Capital consequence of FLM strategies
• Competitor analysis
• Interaction with Key stakeholders including:
• Group Treasury Business heads (Capital, ALM, FLM, FSTI)
• Group BP&A
• Cluster BP&A
• Business Finance Partners and executives

People Management:

• Together with Head: BP&A and FTP/ALM coverage, determine people management strategy for the area
• Development and informal coaching of team members
• Deliver work that is of a high quality.

Education and Experience Required

• Qualifications preferred – Bcom Accounts, CIMA/CFA/CA
• Preferred 3-5yrs financial reporting experience.
