    Senior Php Software Engineer

    Your role:

    • You will run a team of 5-6, as well as liaise with clients from time to time.
    • You will work on a custom-built CMS (improving/adding modules)
    • You will conceptualise new and improved ways of using tech.
    • You will deal with new and exciting websites and apps that clients request.
    • You will sometimes programme website designs into HTML / CSS / JavaScript (typically using Bootstrap) to get you started.
    • You will need to be well versed in backend development, specifically with regards to database design and programming (PHP / MySQL) by utilising an MVC framework, specifically Laravel.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Web (HTML, CSS) Programming: Creation of HTML, CSS of a web interface design
    • Development / maintenance using PHP / MySQL
    • MVC Framework experience in Laravel (or the likes of Code Igniter and Php Cake)

    Requirement:

    • Relevant diploma or tertiary qualification (completed)
    • PHP development experience using Zend, Laravel or similar PHP frameworks
    • Knowledge in Object Oriented PHP, Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
    • Create HTML markup from a supplied PSD file
