Senior Planner - Clothing Industry at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify product opportunities that align with customer demands.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure quality homeware products.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers for negotiations on terms and pricing.
• Manage timelines for design, orders, production, and shipments, ensuring prompt processing of samples.
• Place and track orders to ensure operations align with inventory strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to match product offerings with market needs.
• Communicate effectively with designers, suppliers, and customers to align expectations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to drive sales and reduce excess stock.
• Track key performance indicators for sales and supplier efficiency.
• Utilize design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop for creative tasks.
• Review briefs, provide QA comments, and upload documentation onto Brandcomply.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Buyer in the homeware or retail industry.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Excel for consolidating orders and utilizing formulas.
• Proficient in design programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Attention to detail for reviewing briefs and managing QA processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
