We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platforms Engineer with a deep understanding of containerization and its orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust solutions to support our high-performance applications.
The candidate should advocate for automation at all times and instil a DevOps culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure fast and reliable releases
Develop and automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with software engineers to optimise application performance and reliability.
Implement best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring.
Assist Cloud Engineers with the implementation of cloud architecture and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation between our Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a Fintech or related industry.
Strong proficiency with Terraform / OpenTofu, Terragrunt, and Terraform Pull Request automation.
Expert knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (OCI runtimes and Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of ArgoCD or FluxCD.
Strong proficiency with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, GitHub, Tekton).
Good programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Golang.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
