Description

• This position exists to grow Fraser Alexander’s business footprint in South Africa through implementing of marketing strategies on current and future Nxt Gen business solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Growth

• Be responsible for building brand recognition to grow current businessForge connections with potential clients, partners and collaboratorsStay abreast of latest developments on market trends and competitors to keep our niche product offerings relevant.Work with existing and new customer base to influence adoption of current and Next Generation product offerings

Business Leadership

• Lead the market and competitive research to support the deep client understanding required to underpin competitively differentiated strategies Collaborate with various departments to formulate expansion strategies and identify potential markets for Fraser’s offeringsDevelop supporting communication plans to stakeholder, gain input/feedback and facilitate successful implementation

Administrative

• Leading strategic business development efforts and trackingCreating dashboards for key matrix reportingOwn diary management

Project Management

• Work with project personnel and stakeholders in the development of market opportunities for Fraser’s benefit Tracking high priority opportunities for the COO and identifying any obstaclesCommunicating opportunity status to the COO, pulling in other executives or team members as necessaryConnecting with potential industry partners that are working on similar opportunities

Strategic Initiatives

• Defining and researching new market and business opportunitiesStrong relationship management and rapport with existing and potential clientsWorking with COO to oversee and address client retention and potential growth risksDrives brand innovation
• Communications and Public Relations
• Contributing to a corporate communication strategyDeveloping and delivering presentations through industry networking sessionsExploring thought leadership opportunities

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Honours Degree Metallurgy/MechanicalBusiness background backed by a business qualification

EXPERIENCE

• 10 years mining industry experience with at least 5 years in a senior management or senior technical roleProven business track recordUnderstanding of a corporate environment Business development track recordWorking with cross functional teamsTechnical solution packaging
