Description

• The Purpose of this role is to execute the deposition plan by planning activities, organizing resources, delegating tasks, leading people and controlling risks and deviations to ensure the successful achievement of the deposition plan.

Responsibilities

Planning

• Select the right equipment for the job
• Ensure that there are enough stock quantities
• Ensure appropriate emergency equipment is available
• Deposition-location, duration

Execute Tailings Dam activities

• Operate the penstock inlet
• Maintain beam walls
• Construct catwalk and platform
• Mechanically lift catchment paddocks/ perimeter wall
• Phreatic surface (piezometric levels)
• Clean solution trenches
• Monitor the flow of underdrains
• Monitor the flow of slurry
• Dress the walls

Leading

• Train, coach and motivate the team
• Communicate effectively with the team and superiors
• Make employees aware of hazards and risks 
• Apply discipline
• Attend to employees grievances

Requirements

Qualifications

• Garde 12
• Skills program in Slimes Reclamation or Tailings Dam Operation

Experience

• 2 Years previous experience as a General Worker

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Growth

• Be responsible for building brand recognition to grow current businessForge connections with potential clients, partners and collaboratorsStay abreast of latest developments on market trends and competitors to keep our niche product offerings relevant.Work with existing and new customer base to influence adoption of current and Next Generation product offerings

Business Leadership

• Lead the market and competitive research to support the deep client understanding required to underpin competitively differentiated strategies Collaborate with various departments to formulate expansion strategies and identify potential markets for Fraser’s offeringsDevelop supporting communication plans to stakeholder, gain input/feedback and facilitate successful implementation

Administrative

Project Management

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Honours Degree Metallurgy/MechanicalBusiness background backed by a business qualification

EXPERIENCE

• 10 years mining industry experience with at least 5 years in a senior management or senior technical roleProven business track recordUnderstanding of a corporate environment Business development track recordWorking with cross functional teamsTechnical solution packaging

PURPOSE

• To help maintain and efficient operation of a coal processing plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet specified operational requirements.
• Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
• Ensure that tools are kept in a safe working condition.
• Report and rectify process deficiencies in the production area.
• Liaise with the Shift Foreman and Site Manager

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 or N3

EXPERIENCE

• At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a mining environment.
• Experience as an FEL Operator will be an added advantage.
