Senior Product Documentation Lead - Product Management at Signant Health

As part of our team, your Key Accountabilities:

• Design and implement AI-powered documentation pipelines integrated with Jira and Confluence workflows
• Create automated documentation workflows using Confluence automation rules and Jira automation
• Develop and maintain documentation spaces in Confluence with automated organization and structure
• Implement automated linking between Jira tickets and Confluence documentation
• Set up automated documentation review cycles and approval workflows in Confluence
• Create templates and blueprints in Confluence for standardized documentation
• Establish automated documentation versioning and release notes generation from Jira
• Implement smart documentation tracking using Jira metrics and Confluence analytics
• Develop automated processes for content generation, including AI-assisted drafting and editing
• Create and maintain prompt engineering standards and best practices for AI writing tools
• Establish validation workflows to ensure AI-generated content meets quality standards
• Develop and maintain documentation-as-code practices integrated with Atlassian tools
• Implement intelligent content management systems that support multi-product documentation
• Create automated processes for content synchronization across different platforms
• Guide the adoption of modern documentation tools and AI platforms
• Develop training programs for team members on Atlassian tools and AI writing assistants

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical communications, computer science, or related field
• 10+ years' experience in technical documentation, with at least 3 years focusing on documentation automation
• Advanced expertise in Confluence administration and automation
• Strong experience with Jira administration and workflow automation
• Proven experience with Atlassian APIs and integration capabilities
• Knowledge of Atlassian marketplace apps for documentation automation
• Experience with Confluence macro development and customization
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing AI writing tools
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations in content generation
• Proven track record in implementing documentation automation systems
• Strong knowledge of documentation-as-code principles and tools
• Proficiency in working with AI writing platforms
• Experience implementing quality control systems for AI-generated content
• Strong background in natural language processing (NLP) and content analytics
• Proficiency in markup languages (XML, DITA, Markdown)
• Understanding of API documentation tools and automation
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for automation
• Demonstrated success in leading documentation modernization initiatives.
