Senior Programmer at Nedbank

To identify and resolve most complex issues related to IdentityIQ and be the final point of resolution before consulting externally. Create and/or maintain documentation of all processes; procedures and standards that enable the specific product and its application within Nedbank .Develop optimum solutions that meet both business and technology requirements. Design Technical Solution relating to Identity and File Access Manager. This role also requires a mix of systems administration and programming experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Consult and provide advice on the use of the specific product including development and configuration
• Web interface-based configuration and non-coding development for the IdentityIQ solution.
• To install, customize and implement the IdentityIQ solution.
• Configuration of code in support of all components of the IdentityIQ solution. This ranges from workflows to adapters and system configuration.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, provides advice to business on best demonstrated practiced for the the Identity IQ system and File Access Manager.
• Identifies and resolves most complex technical issues related to the IdentityIQ system. (Final point of resolution before consulting externally).
• Documentation of all processes, procedures and standards that enable the File Access Manger and Identity IQ system is maintain and communicated.
• Stays abreast of changes related to the product.
• Develops the skill within the organization, act as skills mentor on specific product.
• Develop optimum solutions that meet both business and technology requirements. (Performance, Cost, Sustainability, Capacity, ROI) .
• Experience in Identity and Access management and Data governance solutions.
• Focus on integration across the system landscape and manage operational impact of proposed solution.
• Assist Business Analyst, the On-boarding team and the Business/Risk owners to understand end-to-end integration, as well as weak points in the designed controls and/or integration mechanisms.
• Determine the technical complexity of integration of new systems to assist with prioritizations and demand management.
• Incorporate specific focus on business controls seeded in Data Governance, Identity and access management-related processes/capabilities

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Diploma

Preferred Qualification

• Relevant Business- or Information Technology related degree or equivalent qualification

Preferred Certifications

• J2EE certification (advantage)
• CISSP certification (advantage)

Minimum Experience Level

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in Identity and Access Management environment
• 2 - 5 years of professional work experience (ideally includes 1 year of enterprise software implementation experience).
• Minimum with 3 years’ experience in software design and data.

• Programming Languages: Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL
• Web Technologies: XML, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Firewalls, HTML

• Operating systems: UNIX, W2K, Mainframe (RACF, ACF2, Top-secret)
