Senior Project Planner at Lesedi Nuclear Services Pty Ltd

Key Performance Areas:

Project Delivery and Strategic Planning

• Develop and review comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Perform advanced Earned Value Analysis
• Create and maintain project performance dashboards
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project planners
• Assist in strategic planning functions
• Conduct portfolio analysis to optimize resource allocation

Departmental and Company Process Support

• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and SHEQ departments
• Ensure contractual requirements are accurately reflected in project plans
• Participate in process improvements
• Maintain compliance with company Quality Management Systems
• Assist in establishing and operating the Project Management Office (PMO)

Strategic Support and Execution

• Support tender and proposal development
• Generate project development leads
• Apply company strategies in daily operations
• Consolidate and distribute integrated planning reports
• Implement project decision-driving processes

Qualifications:

• Qualified artisan in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation discipline
• Recognized qualification in Industrial/Process/Manufacturing engineering
• Project Management Qualification
• Planner certification from PMI or AACE

Experience:

• 5-10 years post-qualification practical experience in a technical field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project planning using Primavera or MS Projects
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/management capacity
