Senior Property Developer at Salt South Africa

• This role is suited to someone who operates with a high level of accountability and is comfortable driving complex projects across feasibility, planning, financial control, and construction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage developments from feasibility through to completion
• Conduct and review development appraisals and financial models
• Secure planning approvals and manage regulatory processes
• Oversee design development, procurement, and contractor performance
• Drive construction timelines and ensure delivery against programme
• Manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance
• Report to executive stakeholders and investors with clear, data-driven insights
• Ensure projects meet required standards across quality, safety, and compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 15 year’s experience in property development or real estate project delivery
• Proven track record delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in feasibility and financial modelling
• Solid understanding of planning processes, contracts, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders including investors, contractors, and local authorities
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making capability
