Overview
- Seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and scale high-quality applications while driving engineering best practices and supporting team growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications
- Own features end-to-end (design → deployment)
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
- Ensure code quality, testing, and best practices
- Mentor and support junior developers
- Troubleshoot and optimise system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Key Skills
Technical
- Ruby on Rails (modern practices)
- REST APIs & integrations
- PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Frontend tools (Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus – advantageous)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Docker & CI/CD pipelines
Experience
- 5-8+ years software development experience
- Experience building production-grade applications
