The architectural design, selection, specification, implementation and optimisation of HMI/ SCADA and MES / MOS solutions to ensure the alignment of business and information technology (IT) strategies within a project environment.
Desired Qualifications
B Engineering Degree (Relevant) or BSc Computer Science (Relevant))
Project Management Qualification (advantageous)
Business or Management Qualification (advantageous)
Experience
5-10 years working experience in application architecture design for MES / MOS and Automation
Experience with HMI/ SCADA and MES / MOS solutions (e.g. Wonderware)
IT and ICT solution design and delivery experience
Experience in Mining Value Chain
Key Performance Areas:
Translate requirements into architecture design for different projects
Ensure designs adhere to architectural standards and are practically implementable
Validate solutions for quality, architectural and functional requirements
Deliver business information blueprints with Proof of concepts
Ensure all test efforts are planned, monitored and executed
Working closely with process management teams and coordinating technical activities
Provide technical guidance, oversight, coaching and mentoring to project team members
Ensure successful handover into operations (Ensure the end-to-end delivery)
