Senior Solutions Design Manager Europe & MEA – Warehouse Design at DHL

• We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Senior Solutions Design Manager Europe & MEA – Warehouse Design. In this position you will play a crucial role to lead and strategize complex warehouse design projects across our Europe & MEA countries and clusters. You will collaborate closely with our commercial team to understand customer requirements and co-develop impactful technical solutions where you can showcase your expertise, drive customer success, and shape the future of warehouse design!

What will your responsibilities be?

• Develop and design high technical/commercial warehouse solutions together with the project team
• Model scenarios of current and future operational solutions, and present and advise alternative cost-benefit analysis and value models
• Advise the customer in new and innovative solutions which address the customer's needs and demonstrate clear solution fit
• Support the development of a commercial framework for your proposed innovative solution with Business Development & Key Account Managers in order to achieve DSC's growth, contract retention, and continuous improvement objectives.

You won’t find another Senior Solutions Design Manager Europe & MEA – Warehouse Design position like the one you’ll find with DHL Supply Chain. Now, here’s what we need from you:

• 5 to 8 years experience in logistics or end-to-end supply chain
• Previous exposure to modeling and designing of complex warehousing solutions or domestic transport network, logistics/site operations, etc.
• Previous experience/knowledge in project management within supply chain environment
• Advanced knowledge in data analysis using Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
• Ability to work successfully in a complex and international environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
• A master’s degree in (or with a focus on) Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
• English & German fluency at business level

What can you bring as a plus?

• Experience in technical sales
• Good understanding of all solutions design tools, techniques, and procedures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, SketchUp or similar tools
• Warehouse Automation
• Any further European language will be beneficial
