Senior Specialist: Communication at Liberty Group South Africa

Purpose

• To provide specialist advice and support in area of specialisation enabling the provision of effective communication services.

Minimum Experience

• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 -2 years at a junior specialist level

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas [NQF Level 07] in Marketing

• Provide specialist support to enable the effective execution of communication plans and initiatives in alignment with and in support of comm. strategies.
• Advise on and ensure the accurate use and dissemination of area specific marketing and communication material; verifying the outcome of messages.
• Develop and implement communication plans and initiatives in alignment with org. requirements and in support of the overall communication strategy.
• Identify and advise on the effective development and activation of key messages through relevant communication platforms.
• Facilitate the uploading of marketing material onto the relevant platforms (i.e. intranet, internet) in line with business requirements.
• Accountable for the improvement of quality, service and work outputs, continuously recommending improvements.
• Plan for the organisation of work outputs and process improvement activities in light of a specific situational context related to the area of specialisation.
• Proactively identify area of specialisation related problems, determine cause and effect and recommend the best option to implement corrective action based on previous experience.
