Senior Specialist, Community Projects at Exxaro Resources

• To oversee the Company's community development project governance (policies, processes, practices, methodologies etc.) and community development project excellence/best practice.
•  To have oversight of community development project implementation in line with Social and Labour Plan commitments, mining charter targets and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) statutory requirements.
•   To ensure that the Company's community development projects are delivered on time, in budget and in scope from inception to closure.
•   To support the development and execution of Local Economic Development/Socio Economic Development/Enterprise Development initiatives at Business Units, including application of the Company's community development project practices, the Company's project management practices and Social Return on Investment methodology in delivery.
•   To manage project and subject matter expert service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•     BCom (Hons) Relevant (Essential/Minimum or)
•    BA Honours in Development Studies (Essential/Minimum or)
•    BSc (Hons) Urban and Regional Planning (Essential/Minimum)
•    PG Diploma in Project Management (Essential/Minimum)
•    Management Development Programme (Recommended/Desirable)

EXPERIENCE:

•  6-8 years Relevant experience in community development and project management. Knowledge of Social and Labour Plan Local Economic Development, mining charter, Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and enterprise development.
