    Senior Specialist, Content Development

    Role Purpose and Impact

    • The team you’ll be joining has a special focus on editorial content development and financial media production along with data insights, visualization and storytelling, and produces impactful content that supports business and brand goals. The purpose of the role is to serve as an end-to-end content producer and strategist, supporting and leading across our portfolio of shows and series, including our financial markets shows, podcasts, and special media and content marketing projects. This role will play a significant role in producing key properties like The Big Conversation and the Refinitiv Sustainability Perspectives Podcast, two of our flagship financial media series.

    Key responsibilities

    Content development

    •  Work on and be able to lead on all aspects of a show or series - strategy, research, audience development, project management, booking, pre-interviews, editorial planning, show review, go live operations, measurement and analysis
    • Stay up to date on the biggest topics, themes and news that matter to the global financial and business community
    •  Develop enterprise-level content programs and themes that showcase LSEG’s assets and insights, building a stronger brand in our markets and creating commercialization opportunities for the company
    •  Extend the reach and return on enterprise thought-leadership
    •  Make use of data and analytics as a basis for content decision making
    •  Track performance against benchmarks and report ROI
    •  Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels
    •  Work across all marketing groups to ensure optimal process and hand-off points
    •  Create data visualizations and charts using our data CMS, Flourish.
    •  Research, write, edit and produce Data Moments (our animated data series) in coordination with the video team

    Technical / job functional knowledge and skills

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or business-related field preferred
    •  Excellent knowledge of content marketing and media best practices
    •  Strong collaboration skills and ability to navigate and negotiate through a diverse and global matrix structure
    •  Strong understanding of content strategies and content management

     Strong communication skills

    •  Self-directed with a proven ability to get results in a dynamic, highly adaptive and agile environment
    •  Strong understanding of data and insight analysis
    •  Experience working across globally dispersed teams to drive towards a common goal
    •  Extensive experience supporting the development of content materials (from sales enablement to thought leadership), with a detailed knowledge of the end-to-end process
    •  Ability to repurpose and build content using strong copyediting and writing skills
    •  Able to brief designers, additional copywriters and third-party agencies on content
    •  Ability to build impactful content pieces and demonstrate relevant metrics using copywriting skills
    •  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    •  Excellent project management skills and a proactive approach
    •  Confidence to bring fresh ideas and an innovative approach to interpret marketing strategies
    •  Ability to handle multiple projects at once

    Business and sector expertise

    •  3-5 years of experience marketing into the financial community
    •  3-5 years in a content marketing or similar role
