    IT Coordinator

    Main purpose of position

    • Currently we are looking for an IT Coordinator in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future.
    • As our IT Coordinator you will provide expert-level technical support and incident resolution at both first and second-line levels, ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the organization's IT infrastructure.
    • You will also coordinate, assist, and train end users to operate computer hardware, software, and peripherals within Scatec systems.

    Main responsibilities 

    • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, user accounts, licenses, and permissions across Scatec systems.
    • Set up computers for new employees, support smooth onboarding and offboarding, and provide user training and guides as needed.
    • Deliver first- and second-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and printer issues, and managing tickets via the ITSM system.
    • Act as the primary IT contact for Cape Town and Scatec plant sites, ensuring timely responses and a high level of service delivery.
    • Configure, deploy, and maintain printers, multifunction devices, video conferencing solutions, and manage mobile subscriptions in South Africa.
    • Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and appropriate use of IT equipment.
    • Liaise with vendors, negotiate and manage agreements, handle hardware failures and warranty claims, and recommend IT upgrades.
    • Actively participate in Scatec’s Global IT Team and travel as required for project-based work and IT installations.

    Qualifications and competencies

    • Education: B Degree/ Diploma in IT or related field (Information Technology, Systems Support, Communication Networks)
    • Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years working experience, 1st & 2nd Line support experience, proven ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Ideal Certificates: A+, N+, Microsoft 365 Certification (Windows Client (MD-102), Modern Desktop Administrator Asso-ciate. Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), MS Azure Administrator (AZ 104), Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Endpoint Administrator Associate), ITIL® 4 and COBIT® 5 certification advantage

    Additional information:

    • Willing to travel extensively both domestically within Africa and internationally to 3rd world countries

    Compliance and IDD Analyst

    Main purpose of position

    • Currently we are looking for a Compliance and IDD Analyst in Cape Town, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision –Improving our future. 
    • The Compliance Analyst shall contribute to ensure the effective implementation of the Scatec Integrity Due Diligence policies and procedures in force from time to time.
    • The position is part of the IDD team - ensuring that all counterparties contracted by Scatec are risk assessed and vetted. The role will be expected to also develop Scatec’s IDD policies and procedures and other internal controls and conduct relevant integrity due diligence training for employees.

    Main responsibilities 

    • Policies and Procedures: assist in developing the Scatec Integrity Due Diligence policies and procedures and relevant governing documents in Scatec related to integrity due diligence (“IDD”)
    • Perform appropriate integrity due diligence of all prospective counterparties (i.e. suppliers, business partners, customers and partners) to ensure that all business relationships meet the internal policy requirements of Scatec
    • Review and assess the adequacy of the counterparty`s internal policies and procedures to manage the risks arising from engagement with Scatec
    • Organize and perform compliance orientation interviews with counterparties to ensure that the Scatec values are communicated and understood
    • Prepare Integrity Due Diligence reports
    • Provide advice on the integrity risk of a business relationship and recommend mitigating actions
    • Ensure documentation is filed accurately to ensure and allow for audit trace.
    • Use existing, and contribute to the development of internal IDD systems and tools
    • IDD Training: Develop and maintain the IDD training course for relevant employees
    • Organize and perform regular IDD training sessions

    Qualifications and competencies 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Law (preferred), Social Sciences, International Relations, War and conflict, Communication  Studies, Public Policy or any related social sciences field
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in identifying and analysing integrity risks, sustainability and compliance in a risk management position
    • 3+ years experience working in the field of integrity due diligence, compliance, corporate social responsibility or KYC in an international company, preferably within the financial- or energy-sector
    • Knowledge of legal frameworks within anti-corruption, money laundering, economic sanctions and international best practice for integrity due diligence
    • Experience in development and implementation of compliance programs, risk assessments, and integrity due diligence
    • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Additional languages considered an advantage.
