In this Senior Specialist Professional IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration Position

• Implement IT infrastructure and systems plans and processes to ensure maximum provision of an efficient system/ network
• Coordinate and provide technologies such as operating systems, hardware, database, middleware, monitoring and infrastructure applications globally
• Deliver activities to demonstrate, install and commission infrastructure servers and their routine upgrades for products, services and systems
• Promptly share information on updates, known errors, changes in availability, new facilities, etc.
• Prepare roll out schedules and deploy critical security patches to servers and clients in a timely and efficient manner
• Conduct testing, packaging and successfully deploying software/ applications/ processes
• Review and support installation, service, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at sites by field service and technical support team
• Implement new services and changes to existing services in the production/ development environments.
• Suggest modifications to technical service restorations and troubleshooting procedures for identifying, testing and diagnosing computer system and peripheral equipment faults
• Assess product/ equipment performance based on field support data, and recommend modifications or improvements
• Interpret technical or procedure manuals on behalf of non-technical users and provide routine training in normal usage of systems, products and services
• Act as subject matter expert for other infrastructure services sub-teams for chosen specialty and assist with problem resolution and project completion, as needed
• Align and comply with infrastructure standards provided or set by global standards organizations such as ITSS
• Resolve and analyze issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices, processes and protocols for IT infrastructure and system focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
• Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/ new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed.

• Proven experience in the management of a team across IT Infrastructure and System Development

• 1-3 years’ experience in IT relate field.
• Must have a matric
• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer science
• Tertiary Education in IT related subjects, For Example: A+, N+, Microsoft Certified
