Senior Vice President - Protection Services, SA Region at Hire Resolve

Our client is seeking a Senior VP of Protection Services for their South African operations.

Requirements:

• Have an NQF 8 in Security Risk Management
• Have at least 12 years of experience in a related position, of which 7 years should have been at a Senior Management level
• Be a Member of the PSIRA
• Have a clear security screening record

Responsibilities:

• Inform the Protection Services vision and strategy for the SA Region
• Inform strategy and develop implementation plans for the Protection Services SA Region in consultation with the Regional Executive Committee
• Plan strategically to improve overall Regional performance
• Align the Protection Services Strategy with the Regional business strategy, goals, and objectives
• Ensure that strategic security risk management methodologies are in place to meet Regional business requirements
• Ensure that Security Standards meet Regional business requirements
• Ensure that capital allocation is appropriate and efficient in order to contain security, criminal, and ESG-related risks
• Develop and implement adequate control measures to mitigate business-related security risks
• Report on strategic risks facing the SA Region to the various regulatory bodies, forums, and to the Regional EXCO
•  Ensure that the Crime Intelligence Cycle at the Centre effectively meets the SA Region’s business requirements
• Ensure that Investigations systems and processes within Protection Services are focused and capacitated to identify and dismantle criminal business practices within the SA Region
• Support the culture growth programme per segment as it pertains to empowered employees
• Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence
• Focus on sustainability targets that will require operational ramp-up according to the plan
