SEO Specialist at Roobix

Roobix is looking for a full-time Midweight SEO Specialist to join our highly talented team in Cape Town. The SEO specialist will be directly responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring SEO based campaign optimisations to improve client account performance and deliver ROI for a diverse portfolio of clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, implementing and monitoring search engine optimization strategies for clients throughout service lifecycle.
• Monitoring and setup of Google Analytics. Google Web Master tools, Google Tag Manager and Google my Business.
• Optimizing various website components (site accessibility, keywords links, on page and off page factors).
• Inbound link building campaigns and activities.
• Keyword research and competitor analysis
• Data driven report creation and presentation. Monitoring, tracking, analyzing and reporting on key SEO metrics
• Creation of detailed recommendations and detailed feedback on behaviour metrics
• Maintaining expertise on search engine news and trends, including learning and using new SEO tools and services as they become available.
• Finding technical errors on the website and recommending technical SEO changes
• Researching and continually learning the latest SEO ideas, trends and tools
• Local SEO optimization using Google My Business

Need to haves:

• A sound technical SEO background and thorough understanding of its place in the online / digital marketing arena
• At least 2 Years SEO experience
• Understanding of the fundamentals of web analytics
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced, innovative environment with tight deadlines
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and make progress on multiple concurrent projects as well as share progress with your team
• Bachelor’s degree / diploma in marketing or equivalent experience
• Google Analytics / AdWords Certified
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
• Knowledge of SEO Tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming frog and Bright local
