Service Consultant: Personal Lines at PSG Konsult Ltd

About the job:

• To provide underwriting and claims assistance to the Adviser. The position will focus on personal and commercial lines business.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with clients
• Preparing new business quotations
• Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements
• Negotiating renewal terms and preparing renewal documentation
• Register and process claims
• Provide administrative support
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Recording details and information on the relevant systems

Skill sets required:

• Grade 12
• Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• NQF Level 4 – Full qualification (short-term insurance) as set by regulation or studying towards
• Regulatory examination 1 (Representatives) RE5 successfully completed
• A minimum of 2 - 3 years ́ short-term insurance experience in personal and commercial lines
• DOFA confirmation from FSCA
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good administration skills
• Planning and organising skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Resilient with a good level of stress tolerance
• Team player
• Highly client-focused with good interpersonal skills
